Where does my money go?

We have not yet persuaded any companies to give their permits to us for free but we have found a seller of permits that we are happy to buy from. Guys and St Thomas' Hospital in London have two of their sites in the EU emissions trading scheme. They have recently invested in a new Combined Heat and Power unit which will cut their emissions and their fuel bills. We have agreed to buy some of their spare emissions permits at the market rate and in return they have pledged to invest the money in new energy efficiency projects. Any money left over after we have made the purchase goes to fund Sandbag's campaigning activities and covers our running costs which we´ve tried to keep to an absolute minimum.
