How much does it cost?

Sandbag is a membership organisation. In return for your fee we guarantee to cancel a set number of permits (to emit a tonne of pollution) a year. The membership fee goes towards the campaigning work that we do where we will try to reduce the number of permits in circulation - either through lobbying and persuasion (ie without paying) or by entering the market. The price of buying a permit from the market fluctuates with supply and demand in the market. At the moment permits are trading at around 15 euros per tonne (1 tonne = roughly equivalent to one transatlantic flight).
